Storytelling

Story telling is an art that has mental, social and educational benefits on children. People of all ages love stories. Children are great fans of stories and love to listen to them. Storytelling literally means reading out stories to them or just telling a story from the memory to them. It is becoming a lost art today as many parents find very little time to spend with kids as the hustle and bustle of life demands them to reserve more time for the needs of life. But any parent can preserve few stories for kids and spend a bit of time for them to tell them stories.

• Boosts thinking capacity

• Increases knowledge in children

• New vocabulary to children

• Enhances listening skills of children

Being a Preschool Teacher

I love children, I love being with them, and I love helping them. And for me, the best way to do all of these three things is to teach them. 

Being a Preschool Teacher is tiring yet fun and fulfilling. I have to give my best for my students always. It takes a lot of time and effort but seeing them learn something from me makes the hard work worth it. At the end of everyday, I can really say that I am doing something good in my life. I love my profession! I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I graduated Elementary from Corpus Christi School.

I was a member of the Youth for Christ (YFC) organization 

when I was in 1st-4th year high school. 

I was part of the ExeCom under Special Events when I was in 3rd year high school.

I graduated High School from Corpus Christi School.

I was the Treasurer of the Xavier University - Society of Early Childhood Teachers 

(XU-SECT) when I was in 3rd year college.

I graduated from Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan with Bachelor of Elementary Education with field of specialization in Preschool Education (BEED-PSED).

I was a player of the SOE Phoenix Women's basketball team in 2011 and 2013.

I love children that is why I chose to be a Preschool Teacher.

I love dogs. I have a Spitz-terrier named Russell and I spoil him so much.

I love to stay at home during weekends and watch Disney movies and One Tree Hill.

I love to pop bubble wraps.

I love doing DIYs (Do-it-yourself).

I love shoes!

I love listening to Maroon 5.

I am a big fan of Audrey Hepburn.

Aside from being a teacher, I want to become a fashion designer

and open my own clothing line which I will call Halo.

I dream of becoming a Disney Princess someday.
